There are so many unique talents and hobbies to enjoy. Each January, we host a special activity to get a glimpse of other people's lives and to celebrate them.
Over the years, we have had collections varying from nutcrackers to semis, from snowmen to carved bears.
We've celebrated the talents of painters, sketchers, yarn spinners, quilters, cake decorators, and wood carvers.
It's so interesting, not only for our residents, but also for our staff, to see the many gifts God has given us. It's also interesting when staff get involved in sharing their talents and hobbies, because the residents get a glimpse into their life apart from their work.
We hope you're able to join us for this year's Share a Hobby activity in the activity room at 2:00 tomorrow.
